What our clients say

Winston Siljeur

Winston Siljeur hails from the small town of Robertson in Breede Valley District, Western Cape, South Africa. From an early age, he was surrounded by music, mainly owing to his father being a pastor in church. Most of Winston’s musical know-how is self-taught - it is only in 2008 that he was afforded the opportunity to study Classical Piano at the Conservatorium, University of Stellenbosch, Cape Town, marking the beginning of his career as a professional musician and music teacher.

Winston taught piano at Musikhaus W. Heuer in Stellenbosch from 2009 until 2014. He taught Keyboard Practical for Trevor Sampson’s school, Restoring the Sound in Macassar and Piano Practical with renowned award-winning drumming artist, Clement Benny, at Alexander Sinton High School in 2014. During this time, he was also involved in the Stellenzicht Music Project in Jamestown, Stellenbosch where he taught Theory and Keyboard Practical to disadvantaged children.

From 2010 until 2017 he was employed as a Theory and Piano Lecturer for Cape Music Institute. He is currently the Coordinator and Head of Music Department at Pneumatix Performing Arts School in Somerset West.

Winston wears many hats - he is a skilled pianist, musical director, accompanist, session musician, composer, arranger, producer and a music theory and piano teacher. He founded Winston Siljeur Productions (Pty) Ltd and the Winston Siljeur Project in 2014, after following his desire for mentoring up-and-coming musicians and giving them a platform to display their talents.
